Musicopia is a designated fund created by action of the Board of Trustees in 1992. Musicopia was created for the dual purpose of musical event production and fundraising for capital purchases for the music program. As the fundraising arm of the music program, Musicopia is able, in consultation with the Executive Team, to raise money for special capital purchases related to music which are beyond the scope of the church’s program budget. Past purchases include a Steinway B piano, a 3-octave Malmark handbell and chime set, hymnals, and other smaller items. Under the aegis of Musicopia, we have also produced three recordings of music.
