Worship

Worship Service We enjoy rich religious community. When we speak of "worship," we are referring to the shared religious life of our congregation: attending Sunday worship services, creating religious music, honoring life passages like marriage and death, and celebrating special holidays together.

Upcoming Services

Our Sunday Worship Services are at 9:15am and 11:15am. Most Sundays we also hold a special 30-minute intergenerational family service for adults and children of all ages at 10:30am. For information on the Religious Education programs offered for school aged children, please see the Welcome to Education Programs and Family Ministries.

Note: Our Sunday services are at 9:15 and 11:15am, with a short Family Service at 10:30am.

Sunday, May 25 (10:15 a.m.) - Building Peace
How can we be instruments of peace, promoting peaceful coexistence within and beyond our religious communities, while maintaining our safety in a violent world? How do we embody our sixth principle - the goal of world community, with peace, justice and liberty for all - deepening our sense of belonging to our world community? Leading worship this morning is Jamie McReynolds, a member of this church and a 3rd year Master of Divinity student at Starr King School for the Ministry. He is currently a hospital chaplain resident at John Muir Medical Center in Concord, CA. Prior to seminary, Jamie was a lay leader at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation, Santa Rosa and worked professionally in banking, manufacturing and the wine industry. Building the World We Dream About ... How? For the past year, 18 of us have been part of piloting the UUA curriculum, Building the World We Dream About.  The purpose of the curriculum is to learn the skills to build a congregation that is a multiracial & multicultural community of love and justice. We have laughed and cried together. We have dreamed and built. We have been changed by what we started. And we can't do it without all of us in the congregation. Come join us as we share highlights and insights. Worship Leaders:  Heather MacLeod, Dan Wright and the Building the World We Dream About Class.
