
The steps to follow in planning a church event are:
1) Research - Check the church leadership roster
and upcoming events calendar to ensure your event does not conflict with an event that has already been scheduled. After that, contact Linda Hodges, Church Administrator, at linda@uuoakland.org to receive approval to proceed with the event.
2) Reserve - Fill out the online reservation form to reserve a room/space for your church event. If you have any questions related to this, contact Stefan Schneider, Facilities Manager, at rentals@uuoakland.org.
3) Promote - Fill out the online form to publicize your church event in various church communications (Sower newsletter, Chalice Chatter e-Newsletter, Sunday Worship Service Announcements Page, Church Website).
